The way of Salvation
What is salvation and why do I need to be saved?
The pastor of International Church in Sweden shares about “The Way of Salvation and the Gospel Message”.
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9) “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23) “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.” (1 Peter 3:18)
From his own claims, Jesus is either a liar or the truth Messiah. Nothing in between would function.
“I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.” -John 6:35, Bible
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” -John 8:12
“I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.” -John 10:9
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” -John 15:5
“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.” -John 10:11
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” -John 11:25, 26
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” -John 14:6 26
"If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved."
